  • Gender Yields
  • Residency Yields

This indicator represents students who have applied for admission to Florida State University and the results of their applications. The three groups of students are:

FTIC - First Time in College (Traditional Freshmen).

Transfer - Undergraduate Transfer Students.

Graduate - Graduate Applicants. (Excludes Law and Medical applicants).

These cohorts can be identified according to their term or year of entry, gender, and residency. Beginning in 2018-19, residency is defined as In-State or Out-of-State (OOS) by residency at the time of application. Residency in prior years was determined by residency for tuition purposes.

These data include fee-paid applicants, accepted students, and students who enrolled. The number of students who are admitted and enrolled is affected by enrollment targets.

This indicator may be useful to prospective students to identify admissions trends for different student populations. This information is made available to various survey and assessment organizations, as well as federal and state governments. Percentage Yields (ratios between categories) are also available for this indicator.
